Frequently asked questions
- Will it merge words together?
- Only if you ask it to. By default each line break is replaced with a single space, so words stay separated and the text reads as one flowing block. If you choose to replace breaks with nothing instead, lines are joined directly, which suits cases like rebuilding a long code or token that was wrapped.
- Can it also remove blank lines and extra spaces?
- Yes. There are options to drop empty lines and to collapse multiple spaces down to one, so text pasted from a PDF or an email comes out clean rather than still peppered with gaps.
- Does it keep paragraph breaks?
- You can choose. One option removes only the single breaks inside paragraphs while keeping the blank line between paragraphs, so your text stays readable. Another removes every break for a single continuous line. Pick whichever matches what you need.
- Is my text sent to a server?
- No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your text is read and processed on your own device, nothing is uploaded, and nothing is logged or stored. Once the page has loaded, it keeps working even if you go offline.
