Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the three reverse modes?
Reversing characters flips the whole string, so "hello world" becomes "dlrow olleh". Reversing words keeps each word intact but flips their order, giving "world hello". Reversing lines keeps each line as it is but flips top to bottom, which is useful for lists. Pick the one that matches what you are trying to do.
Does it handle emoji and accented characters?
Yes. Characters are reversed in a way that keeps emoji and combined accented letters whole, so they do not break apart into stray symbols. The reversed text stays readable rather than turning into mojibake.
Can I reverse multiple lines at once?
Yes. Paste as many lines as you like. In character or word mode each line is handled on its own, and in line mode the whole block is flipped from last line to first.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your text is read and processed on your own device, nothing is uploaded, and nothing is logged or stored. Once the page has loaded, it keeps working even if you go offline.
